Lincoln Luncheon

The annual Lincoln Days Celebration Luncheon commemorating the birth of Abraham Lincoln will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in The Lincoln Museum Community Room (56 Lincoln Square) from 12 noon to 1 pm.

Tickets are $15.00 and must be purchased in advance as seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased at the Lincoln Museum (66 Lincoln Square). The museum is open daily; call (270) 358-3163 for more information.

Stacy Humphreys, Chief of Interpretation and Resource Management at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park, will be the guest speaker.

The program will also include the presentation of the Richard Burks Award, a luncheon menu of turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, slaw, and roll prepared by The 16th Restaurant with dessert provided by the Lincoln Days Celebration Board and Committee Members. The event is a wonderful opportunity to gather and commemorate the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.

Other activities that day include a wreath laying ceremony in downtown Hodgenville at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Presidential statue. Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will also host a wreath laying ceremony at 10:00 a.m.

The public is invited to attend these ceremonies to honor President Lincoln’s 216th birthday.
