Glory Road Singers of Green County Ky.
The band shares their personal story:
Glory Road Singers Formed in 1973 with four members and the goal to sing the praises of — and to always glorify the name of — the Lord.
Current members include Janet Vanarsdall, who joined the group in 1975 at the age of 13. She has performed every part but bass (vocal) but she has been known to play the bass guitar!
Next joining the group and coming from the former (Inspirational IV) group is Dillard Vanarsdall, who joined in 1979. Dillard sang with his very first group at the age of 10. He has played the piano and bass guitar with the Glory Road Singers.
The next member Andrea Vanarsdall Durrett, who joined around 1998, Andrea sings alto. Andrea’s husband, Bro. Casey Durrett, joined around 2002, singing bass vocals.
Tatum Durrett is a huge asset to the group and joined playing the drums for the first time in 2013. He oversees to every song we sing, listening to what the Lord wants. Tatum is a fine young Christian man.
Another fine young Christian man, Corbin Shuffett, joined us on 2021. Corbin plays the piano as good as any professional anywhere.
Our main goal is to see souls saved and to glorify the Father.
